I'm not going to pretend this is a clean sweep.
Bot Mode is a one-day public beta and it isn't perfectly smooth.
One of my viewers put it bluntly: "UI is a bit ugly in comparison."
It's a desktop plugin, so it installs on the machine running the Hermes desktop app rather than on your server, and early testers who put it on a home server saw nothing.
If your Hermes gateway lives on a VPS that's fine, because the desktop app connects to remote gateways.
You can't put multiple bots into one group chat yet, and the answer when someone asked was "not yet".
Bot-to-bot messages aren't instant interrupts either, since the receiving bot sees them next time it runs.
Deleting a bot isn't in the interface on purpose, and it's done from the command line so a misclick can't wipe a bot's memory.
